Proof The End Of The World Is Near...

I am a HUGE Sports Talk Radio fan and have been for years. For me, Jim Rome is and always has been, at the top of the list of outstanding radio personalities. I've been a fan of Rome's since the days of his infamous "Chris" incident on ESPN 2's "Talk 2"...What makes Rome so great is not only the fact that he does the most in-depth, well-prepared, and professional interviews in the business, but that he flat out gets it...His takes are always on point, and he addresses issues and topics that most radio blowhards just don't understand. One of my favorite topics/takes is "Softball Guy"...Just take a listen to his take below on "Softball Guy" and you'll completely understand what I mean.

My Brother and I have joked about "Softball Guy" for years now and it's so fitting that Jim would use 'this guy' as a topic of discussion. I've also heard Rome blast other 'guy's' such as "Corvette Guy", "Camaro Guy", "Monster Truck Guy", and "Likes To Fight Guy"...We all know these idiots and have most likely dealt with these guys growing up...and in adulthood...Due to their inability to give it up, and tendency to overcompensate for areas of their life in which they are "lacking"...Oh, and let's not forget their overly aggressive nature. Unfortunately this weekend I'll be dealing with "Fireworks Guy"...Nothing more patriotic than that.

But I don't think even Rome could have imagined this story...I was reading the Fox Sports website a few minutes ago when I was shocked to stumble upon a true life account of "When "Softball Guy" Attacks"...While I'm not attempting to trivialize or make fun of this situation in the least bit, it speaks to the true instability of 'this guy'...Are you freaking kidding me...? And this guy was one of his teammates? Just imagine what he would've done to one of the opposing players...I hope this idiot gets the death penalty...and puts the rest of the "Softball Guy's" on alert...This is adulthood fellas...and it's only a game Bro...It's only a game.
